Pearce 'ExCel' at London 2012 Branding

With the London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony only days away, Pearce Signs recently worked with LOGOC's branding team to manufacture and install panels to house official signage high above the glass pyramid entrance to ExCel West, a venue hosting 7 Olympic and 6 Paralympic events.
Having worked with ExCel previously, Pearce Signs knew the venue well and the challenges that they would face in terms of installation: with both timing and weather conditions against them, Pearce received massive praise from ExCel - over the course of 3 days, the installation team racked up an impressive 60 hours in carrying out a stirling job!
The fascia board needed to contain the London 2012 signage and had to be designed and manufactured with the purpose of covering over existing ADNEC Group branding. The existing signage needed to remain in place and undamaged; ready to be uncovered and restored after the Olympics. Acknowledging that ‘tough assignment’ would be an understatement, ExCel’s Media & Sponsorship Director praised to the Pearce Signs team for their over-and-above service.
